Python Job: Permanent Python Engineer - FinTech

A Venture Capital backed FinTech are leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide credit analytics products.

They are currently hiring a Python Engineer to utilise their technical skill set in the construction of specialised financial-based APIs. The firm's primary client base includes hedge funds, asset managers and investment banks.

They are aiming to leverage cutting-edge technology to free up their institutional investor's resources by providing insight and analytics on financial information and reports. They are currently in a state of growth and are looking for an expert to use their knowledge in the Python development space.

Their current platform is built in Python whilst being hosted in AWS, with some serverless capacities (Lambda).

Engineer Deliverables:

• To advance the full API infrastructure as the organisation scale up through web application throughout this year
• Provide a strategic and experienced roadmap for a new product to internal and external stakeholders of the company
• Designing and developing the API strategy to transform and accelerate the existing digital footprint
• Build B2B focused APIs
• Provide experienced consultations on business strategy and technological decisions
• Influence the automation strategy across the credit analyst workflow with the intention of freeing institutional investors' resources and providing insightful analytics.

Essential Skills:

• Python
• Django/Flask
• API development experience
• Exposure to UI development is a bonus (eg, React)
• AWS
